Open Adoption
Open adoption allows for regular contact with your child. You exchange identifying information with the adoptive couple you have chosen. It enables you to communicate with one another through texts, phone calls, emails, or possibly personal visits.
Semi-Open Adoption
Making a semi-open adoption plan allows you to communicate with the adoptive couple while remaining private. All emails, letters, and cards are sent first to your adoption specialist, who forwards them to the adoptive couple.
