You think your partner might be pregnant...

You are not alone. Many couples find themselves facing the possibility of an unexpected pregnancy. The Pregnancy Centers offer free pregnancy testing, counsel and resources. We are here for both of you, willing to answer all of your questions and address your concerns. Your partner is looking for your support now more than ever. Support does not mean silence - assure her that you will stand beside her. Research your options and pregnancy information together. Your voice is important.

Gather information

Pregnancy is a decision that impacts both of your lives. The Pregnancy Centers have information to help you in the process of making an informed decision. Gather information and talk about what you learn - not only with each other, but prepare to talk with parents and others close to the situation.

Talk

You may have many questions and few answers. It is common to feel afraid, frustrated, or even angry but reassure your partner that you are in this together. Running is not the answer. Listen: there are now three lives to think about. We are happy to talk through your options with you.

Don't pressure her

Applying pressure will only push her away, possibly into a situation you may both regret. Work together as a team.

Don't rush

You have plenty of time to make a decision. The Pregnancy Centers are here to help both you and your partner. Call us for an appointment.

Our services for you

So, you've chosen to become a parent. Now what do you do? Concerned about more than just pregnancy?

Have you and your partner discussed the possibility of a sexually transmitted infection (STI)? It is important that you know your risks. Many STI's have no symptoms. If you do think you have an STI, schedule an appointment with your physician immediately. If you do not have a physician, please contact the El Paso County Health Department at 719-578-3199.
